Annual Meetings
The club’s annual cycle is anchored by the Annual General Meeting (AGM), which typically takes place during one of the monthly slots at Ludlow Brewery (often in January or February). While the monthly meetings are social and informal, the AGM is the essential business hub where the club’s direction for the year is decided.
Key Functions of the Annual Meeting
The AGM serves three primary purposes for the club and its members:
-
Financial Accountability: The club presents a summary of the funds raised throughout the previous year, specifically highlighting the total donations made to their supported charities, such as Hope House and The Teenage Cancer Trust.
-
Election of Officers: Members confirm or elect the committee members who manage the club’s logistics, insurance, and event planning.
-
Event Scheduling: This meeting is where the "Working Day" dates and themes (such as focusing on a specific tractor brand like Massey Ferguson or International) are officially set for the coming season.
How to Participate
If you are looking to attend the next AGM or a specific annual event:
-
Entry forms for the major annual events are usually updated early in the year and can be downloaded.
-
Attend the Last Thursday: Since the club meets on the last Thursday of every month, any "special" annual announcements are made during these sessions.
